Anatomy and Physiology teacher Jodie Deinhammer was named 2013-2014 Coppell High School Teacher of the Year on Wednesday. The announcement was made during her fifth period class, led by Principal Mike Jasso and the CHS drumline.
Deinhammer was amoung 11 nominees, who were announced at a faculty meeting in the CHS theater before school on Wednesday, as each nominee learned of their recognition through a video presented by assistant principal Kayla Brown.
In addition to Deinhammer, who earned her first Teacher of the Year recognition, nominees included John Harris, Karie Kosh, Linda Moore, Bill Parker, Sunny Richardson, Melanie Ringman, John Robinson, Brandon Slovak, Cindy Wolfe and Michelle Zugaro.
