Princess Hermione and the King negotiate their differences at the prospect of her arranged marriage to Lord Valoures in “The Troubadour Queen”. Come watch the Coppell High School Madrigals portray this dysfunctional royal family at its 19th annual medieval dinner.
The Feast will include roasted fowl, potatoes, garden fresh vegetables, bread and sweets.
“You can expect a magnificent time warp into the Medieval times,” junior Madrigal Ali Lewis said. “It is going to be awesome, we have been practicing every morning from about 7:30-8:15 a.m., and lots and lots of practices throughout the day since the beginning of the school year. This is our biggest performance of the year, so it has to be perfect.”
The Feast is on Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. Plan to arrive for the pre-feast festivities which begin at 6:30 p.m. For the royal treatment, purchase a reserved seat for the dinner and show for $27 (adults) or $20 (students 18 and younger), or claim a seat in the Gallery. Gallery tickets are general admission for $10 and include the show and dessert only.
Advance purchase is advised for all types of seating. Visit the Coppell Choir website for online and offline purchase instructions. Come see what makes this 19th annual Madrigal Feast. The lighthearted story will take place those two nights in the CHS Commons.
