Through groups such as National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society, students all around the high school are constantly on the search for volunteer opportunities. Whether its for organization hours or just to give back to the community, volunteer opportunities around Coppell are a great way to help out. With a community as nice as Coppell, there are volunteer opportunities around every corner, but sometimes, they take a little searching to find.
In two weeks, on May 15, The William T. Cozby Public Library at 177 N Heartz will be hosting its third annual Teen Volunteer Fair, which is free to all attendees. This fair will last from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and is a great way for teens around the community to find numerous opportunities to help out and give back.
There will be representatives from local organizations all around Coppell who will be available to discuss the opportunities at their organization. All of the organizations attending will be accepting teen volunteers and will be open to answering questions. There are still open spots for organizations around the community who want to take part and can find more information here.
