Wilson Elementary was awarded the title of a 2012-2013 Great Expectations Model School. A ceremony was held, along with a tree planting ceremony, on Monday afternoon at Wilson Elementary. Only five schools in Texas were awarded this title, and Wilson Elementary was the only school in North Texas with this award.
