Thom Hulme is a current resident of Coppell and works on the school board and the chamber of commerce.
Hulme attended Trinity High School as a teenager and grew up in the Fort Worth area. From there, he went off to college and received a BA in business and psychology
The school board decides everything about how the schools are run, what curriculum is being taught, etc. Being a member, Hulme has a huge say in what goes on in all of the schools in Coppell, ranging from elementary to high school.
However, aside from being involved in the district, Hulme also works at Bank of America as a loans consultant. He has worked in the mortgage field for nearly 20 years and has worked in real estate for almost 30.
Hulme has accomplished very much throughout his successful career, such as being recognized by D magazine as one of the top 100 mortgage professionals in 2011 and Texas Monthly’s top 100 in 2012.
He currently serves on the Coppell YMCA board and navigating recovery, which is a non-profit designed to assist kids coming from recovery programs between the ages of 13 and 18.
Aside from being very successful in the business department, Hulme also has a beautiful family. His wife, Kelly, is currently working in the real estate field, while his daughter, Marin, is a sophomore at Coppell High School.
Hulme does what he does because he wants to make a difference in helping kids be prepared and determined members of society to finish their education and eventually grow up, receive a job and have a good life.
