Being 1-4 in district, the Cowgirls will face Hebron for the second and last time this season. They will also face Flower Mound, Flower Mound Marcus, Denton Ryan and Lewisville again.
The past match up left Coppell 0-1 by a 48-44 loss. During the game, missed free throws were huge as it could have won the game for the Cowgirls.
In order to win, Coppell will need strong shooting from the line, aggressive driving and rebounds from everyone. Staying mentally focused in tight games will be beneficial as three out of their five previous district games were within five points. Adaiwu Nwaiwu and the rest of defense have been doing well to force turnovers, and on the other side of the ball, they must minimize turnovers to win and keep their playoff hopes alive.
