For those who can’t make that meeting there are other dates scheduled for Coppell Reads to meet up, Sunday Oct. 14 at 2:00 pm and Monday Oct. 15 at 7:00 pm. There will be a visit from the author on the 17th at 7:00, there will be a book signing from the author afterwards.
Included in the Coppell Reads program is the Breath of Life, awareness for the diminishing of Native American languages. There will be an appearance from Dr. Colleen Fitzgerald, a professor from UT Arlington, on Oct. 10 at 7:00.
The purpose of Coppell Reads is to get adults of the community to get together to discuss books and grow closer as a whole. Coppell is also trying to encourage the importance of reading and our public library. Be sure to visit Coppell Reads if you are over 18 and wish to be more involved in the community and have new books to read.
