In past years, dress up and theme days at Coppell High School have been ignored by many of students, but this year is proving to be a different story.
Every day during Homecoming week at CHS, the hallways were filled with a large number of students showing their school spirit by eagerly participating in the given theme days. From a Mardi Gras’ colors to mix-matched clothing day, students and teachers were having more fun dressing up than in recent years.
“This year’s dress up days like “frat Tuesday” and neon day were better than those of past years,” Senior Madeline Nauyokas said. “I have definitely seen more people dressing up for them. As a senior, the only downside is having to choose between wearing your overalls or participating in the dress up day.”
Tomorrow will be another opportunity for students and faculty to show their school spirit by dressing up. With the theme being “Allen’s Worst Nightmare”, pajama pants can be worn to show support for the much anticipated game on Friday versus the Allen Eagles.
