After a successful first year on staff last year, I hope to continue running with last year’s momentum.
I look forward to producing highlighting feature stories and thought-provoking opinion columns, as well as sports features, entertainment reviews and campus news.
Over the summer, I visited the school of Journalism at the University of Missouri, as well as Texas Tech. While I see myself landing in Lubbock next fall, I have the rest of this year to decide.
I also created a sports blog focused on Texas Rangers baseball, bentalksbaseball.com
I am looking forward to another productive year on staff of The Sidekick.
