Spring is in bloom and the weather is sunny and warm. Not only is it time to take the tops off Jeeps and bust out warmer clothes, Spring is the perfect time to go outdoors. Coppell is celebrating the start of Spring with several activities, one of them being free movies behind Town Hall.
All Coppell residents are invited to screenings of popular movies on the lawn between the justice center and town hall. Starting at 7 p.m., these movies are perfect for families looking to spend some quality time under the stars. This Saturday, there will be a showing of Grease and free popcorn will be provided.
The city invites residents to bring lawn chairs and blankets to make sure that they will be comfortable throughout the film. Upcoming films include The Goonies and Zookeeper, and a schedule of all events is available on the Coppell Website.
Starting in September, the city will also host several concerts. The performers for the three dates vary in style from Country to Top 40 and there will even be a Beatles Tribute. So pack up your lawn chairs, throw some soda in a cooler and head out for some quality family time on the plaza lawn.
