Tomorrow, Thursday Oct. 22, the Coppell varsity hockey team will take on Highland Park at the Farmers Branch Stars center at 9 p.m. The Cowboys’ record is 2-1 so far, the one loss being against Frisco. The game tomorrow is supposed to be good, but the Cowboys are predicted to come out on top. Tomorrow is also the day that the Hockey Honeys start wearing their shirts to support the team.
The upcoming games in the next few weeks are also supposed to be challenging games. Next week they Cowboys will take on the Jesuit Rangers, the most anticipated hockey game of the year. The Cowboys have defeated the Rangers the past two years, but Jesuit will continue to be one of Coppell’s biggest rivals. On Thursday Nov. 5, Coppell will play Plano West, another game that the Cowboys look forward to. So come support the Cowboys hockey team on the upcoming Thursday nights while they play some of their biggest games of the year.
