Renaissance is a privilege for students who maintain high grades at CHS. Those who qualify will receive an extra long lunch to go out to eat with their friends on designated days. The first off campus lunch for this six weeks is Friday for students who have “red” or “gold” renaissance. Students have been buzzing about the chance to leave school and get some fresh air.
“I’m really excited to get a break from school for a few hours and spend time with my friends,” senior Isabel Olivas said.
There are many places to eat close to the high school: like Sonic, Wendy’s and Subway. Hopefully, students will be able to enjoy the off campus lunch they have earned.
Freshmen have the opportunity to participate in renaissance during the second semester if their grades are A’s and B’s. Freshmen, be sure to keep your grades up so that you can go off campus for lunch next semester!
