This week the Coppell Cowboys are preparing for their most highly anticipated game of the regular season. We will be playing the much rivaled Southlake Carroll Dragons. Many of the players on the team have been looking forward to this matchup since they beat the Dragons almost a year ago. There has always been a lot of tension and history between Coppell and Southlake, especially when it comes down to athletics. The Coppell Cowboys will be taking on the Southlake Carroll Dragons at 7:30 on Friday at Dragon Stadium, a field that the Cowboy football team has yet to win a game on. This is also the same field that the Cowboys played at in an emotional loss against Euless Trinity that ended the season and Coppell’s 13-0 winning streak. Emotions will be high for Coppell during the game on Friday and they need the Coppell high school students to come out and help cheer them on.
