Early voting ends tomorrow, May 10

Coppell has once again reached that stage in its political journey for new City Council members, as well as new CISD board members to be elected.

Early voting began on May 2 and will be wrapping up on May 10 at 7 p.m. Residents may vote at Coppell Town Center or at the Valley Ranch Public Library. Coppell residents who live in Denton County may vote at Coppell Town Center as well.

For any seniors who are eligible to vote, I encourage them to find a few minutes for the voting booth. Voting takes a slice of your time, yet it makes the world of a difference. Despite the fact that many of you might be living in Coppell for only a few more months, think about the generations below you and your parents who will continue to call Coppell their one and only home.

Amongst the people running for a place on City Council are Brianna Hinojosa-Flores, Karen Hunt, Tim Brancheau, Raj Akula, Billy Faught and Thomas Burrows.

Tracy Fisher, Amy Dungan and Thom Hulme are amongst the few running for a place on the CISD Board of Trustees.
