After an amazing win in January 2011 where the Coppell High School Varsity cheerleading team brought home first place and a national title, they are off to California to take on a new wave of components.
Every other year the CHS Varsity cheerleaders choose a competition outside of Texas to compete in. The team travels together and spends part of the trip performing and competing with their routine and the other parts bonding as a team.
Typically the team chooses a place that is warm and sunny such as Hawaii and California. Next week the cheerleaders are heading to Long Beach California to show the other half of the US what Coppell is made of.
Through their hard work and dedication during practice the team should have a lot of success.
