Starting this Friday, Coppell Lacrosse is heading to Philadelphia, home of the Liberty Bell, in order to play the top teams in the City of Brotherly Love. The trip comes as an opportunity to shake the rust off after a week of spring break, and at the same time, recover after a tough loss to an undefeated Jesuit team a few weeks earlier. While not actually participating in an official tournament, the trip is a chance to play some of the best teams in East Coast, and see how one of Texas’ finest teams stand up to what Philadelphia has to offer when not on their home turf. It’s also a chance for some of the college bound seniors on their way to big name athletic programs, such as Syracuse and Brown, to showcase their talent and gauge how well they’ll do when presented with the country’s best on the college level.
