Coppell Lacrosse, going for the third state championship in three years, is off to a good start.
Last weekend, the team took on two out of town teams and the defending division 1 state champions, Highland Park. All three of these wins were extremely important to the teams confidence and teamwork. The team got a chance to try out some of their new plays and assert their dominance at the top of Texas Lacrosse. The teams biggest competition this year will be Saint Marks, Jesuit and ESD.
The JV team also got to show its strength playing its first game tonight against Colleyville. The team won 7- 2 and believes that they can improve their skills even more through the next couple of games.
The Varsity team plays Austin, Bowie on Saturday at the CHS stadium at 5:00 p.m.
