Ugly Christmas sweater day is next Wednesday and is causing excitement throughout the school among CHS students. Walking through the halls of CHS you will hear students talking about what sweaters they’re wearing and how happy they are. Officially, over 126 students are participating in this awesome event. Ugly Christmas sweater day is a day set aside for Coppell students to go out and find the most hideous Christmas sweater they can find- whether it lights up or has bells hanging from it. Many students travel to different thrift stores to find the perfect sweater to wear for this special occasion. The Facebook page, created by Ashleigh Heaton, is headlined, “Dig through your gradma’s reject clothing and find the ugliest Christmas sweater. Put it on. Wear it. Get in the holiday spirit.” So take initiative and participate in this beloved dress up day at CHS.
