Coppell High School junior VEX Robotics competition officers Parjanya Vedula and Sai Anmol Kutuva Gokul Babu recently placed first at a regional competition in Irving. In this episode of On the Record, The Sidekick staff writer Hiral Patel speaks with Vedula and Babu on how they became interested in robotics and their experience competing in VEX.

Sabah Uddin, Communications Manager
Sabah Uddin is a senior and the communications manager for The Sidekick. Her favorite part of being a student journalist is being able to cover events and meet people she never would’ve known before. Through The Sidekick she has gotten to step out of her comfort zone in discovering sports photography and feature writing. When she’s not covering an event for The Sidekick or competing with the Coppell High School DECA chapter, you can find her exploring new restaurants and cafes.
