Purely Rhythmic unites CISD percussion

Purely Rhythmic is an annual festival providing Coppell ISD students from grades sixth through 12th with an opportunity to showcase their musical talent through a series of rhythmic performances. The show was held in the CHS Auditorium on March 8. The performance consisted of student-composed pieces while also featuring guest artist Sriji Poovalur, who received several awards from leading institutions and was nominated for a Grammy Award. Ananya Narala is a sophomore and a first-year staff-writer at The Sidekick.  She joined Sidekick to further pursue her passion for writing and talking about what goes on throughout the Coppell community. Ananya has enjoyed writing since youth, immersing herself in writing everything she observes. She also hopes to podcast this year. She enjoys listening to music like indie, r&b, and rap. She also loves making Spotify playlists, and baking goods with friends. Occasionally, she enjoys traveling to the beach with her family and trying new cuisines.
