Kayla is a senior and the sports photography editor for The Sidekick. Her favorite part of student journalism is the interesting places it has allowed her to venture to, such as The Star in Frisco and Choctaw Stadium. She loves music, with some of her favorites being Noah Kahan, Frank Ocean and Phoebe Bridgers. She enjoys trying out new coffee shops with friends, with her favorite drinks being an iced white mocha matcha and a coconut latte. Rhea Chowdhary, Media Editor

Rhea is a senior and the media editor for The Sidekick. She found her love for media stories through their ability to convey a strong message with sound and visuals. While she’s not cranking out a story, she loves to hang out with friends, grab a camera and take some photos or plop her Beats on and listen to music for hours. Raima Awan, Staff Writer

Raima Awan is a sophomore and a first year staff writer on The Sidekick. She joined The Sidekick because of her interest in writing and her desire to learn more about a newsroom.

Raima loves listening to music and her favorite genre is indie. Raima’s favorite artists are Billie Eilish and The Marias. She enjoys going to concerts and her favorite has been Louis Tomlinson. In her free time, Raima likes to go to 151 Coffee with her friends and her go-to drink is an iced Irish Sin.

Isabella Callegaro Santos, Entertainment Editor

Isabella Callegaro Santos is a senior and entertainment editor for The Sidekick. She joined The Sidekick because loves to produce videos and tell stories. She is a member of the Cowboy Theatre Company and loves performances. She was born in Brazil and has lived in five continents and seven countries, only recently moving to Coppell. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends, doing gymnastics, traveling, musical theater and singing.
