CHS9 closed due to power outage

CHS9 is currently experiencing a partial power outage due to Tuesday’s storms. The campus is closed Wednesday while all other Coppell ISD campuses are operating as normal.

UPDATE: Power has been restored at CHS9 and school will resume Thursday.

CHS9 is closed Wednesday due to a partial power outage on campus resulting from Tuesday’s thunderstorms. 

According to Coppell ISD, this is the only campus closed for the day, and all other campuses are operating as normal.

According to Coppell ISD, the outage is still impacting CHS9 phone lines and emails.

Students and parents are instructed to contact input@coppellisd.com for inquiries in the event of an emergency.

Anvita Bondada is a senior and the CHS9 editor for The Sidekick.  She originally joined The Sidekick because of her love for writing, and has expanded her skill set by trying photography, design and podcasting. Neha Nathwani is currently a senior and second year staff writer in The Sidekick. The way people communicate is a narrative that inspired her, compelling her to join The Sidekick and the Speech and Debate team. She loves to learn people’s stories and emotions, and communicate them through media.  Outside of school she enjoys listening to music. Her top three artists are Tyler, the Creator, Frank Ocean and Lana Del Rey.  She collects vinyls and watches her favorite movies, Before Sunrise and La La Land whenever she needs a boost of enjoyment.
