The Journalism Education Association designated this week as Scholastic Journalism Week. Throughout this week, student journalists are recognized for their work and dedication to journalism and their contributions toward telling local stories. In this episode of On the Record, listen as The Sidekick media editor Rhea Chowdhary and staff designer Safiya Azam speak with Round-Up yearbook editor-in-chief Raashi Kalyani and KCBY-TV spirit director Aaron Montes about what student journalism means to them and the impacts their programs have made.
