Truth masked in lies
According to Governor Greg Abbott, out of the total 150 seats in the Texas House, 79 are expected to vote for school vouchers, which would allow families to choose the school their child attends using taxpayer dollars. After having a family member join The Sidekick, Nrithya came to read the paper and form an interest in joining as a member herself. Although she joined the program swearing to never veer away from design, she somehow ended up finding a love for writing and telling multimedia stories.

When she’s not designing the next issue or writing a feature, you can find her catching up on classic middle grade and young adult novels that she never got to in middle school, or maybe even listening to the latest Red Velvet release.

Manasa Borra is a senior and the Webmaster/Interactives Editor at The Sidekick. She enjoys listening to songs that stopped being cool a decade ago yet somehow doesn’t know any bands. She loves the sweet scent of jasmine and vanilla ice cream but avoids all other sugary desserts. Her favorite pastime is consuming an extensive variety of mystery media, from The Da Vinci Code to Only Murders in the Building to all things Agatha Christie.
