Maddy Park is a senior and a second-year staff photographer on The Sidekick Maddy ended up in The Sidekick in an unexpected way. After landing a leg injury in soccer, she thought, why not join the school’s newspaper? From owning Sidekick subscriptions before, she enjoyed reading the newspaper and decided that she wanted to be a part of the process. When she’s not taking photos, she can be seen making art as she has been a part of Coppell High School’s art program for four years. Outside of school, she plays for her club soccer team, DKSC, and enjoys hanging out with her German Shepard and black cat. She loves boba tea and any non-spicy Korean food. Sabah Uddin, Communications Manager
Sabah Uddin is a senior and the Communications Manager for The Sidekick. Her favorite part of being in The Sidekick is being able to cover events and meet people she never would’ve known before. Through The Sidekick she has gotten to step out of her comfort zone in discovering sports photography and feature writing. When she’s not covering an event for The Sidekick or competing with the Coppell High School DECA chapter, you can find her exploring new restaurants and cafes.
