  • On Monday, the Board of the Friends meets at Coppell Cozby Public Library and Community Commons at 7 p.m.
  • On Tuesday, the Coppell City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers at Town Center.
  • On Tuesday, the Cozby Library hosts its Teddy Bear Campout at 6:30 p.m.
  • On Wednesday, Coppell High School hosts Curriculum Night from 5:30-7 p.m.
  • On Friday, the Lariettes host their Spaghetti Dinner at 5 p.m. in the CHS Commons.

Truth masked in lies
According to Governor Greg Abbott, out of the total 150 seats in the Texas House, 79 are expected to vote for school vouchers, which would allow families to choose the school their child attends using taxpayer dollars. In her free time outside of school, she enjoys painting scenic locations she’s spotted and making vlogs of her vacations for herself and her family to watch. Her favorite movie of all time is The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. She enjoys watching Anne With An E and The 100, while snacking on Brookside Acai Dark Chocolate and Skinny Pop.
