Luke Jared, Staff Photographer
Luke Jared is a sophomore and staff photographer in his first year at The Sidekick. He wants to hone his skills to be a better photographer and writer and learn about communication and leadership. Along with his attention to detail, Luke enjoys listening to music, specifically rap and pop. His favorite artists include Tyler the Creator, Lil Yachty, and Kanye. In his free time, Luke loves cooking with his family. He makes a killer chicken dish, one of his favorite foods. He also loves playing FPS video games. His favorite games are CS Go, GTA, and Fortnite. He plays a couple of times a week with his friends to decompress and prepare for the next day. In The Sidekick, he wants to explore the different venues and take pictures of everything he can find. He also travels around the world, seeing different cultures and different people. He loves new experiences and eating other foods around the world. His favorite traveling experience is Italy because he enjoyed seeing world wonders like the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, and the Sistine Chapel. He also loved their culture and the food there, including pasta, bakeries, and desserts. His favorite activity is sleeping, and he makes it a point to get at least eight hours of sleep to replenish and be ready for the following day. When he wakes up, he always eats breakfast, including eggs. As he is gearing up for the new year, Luke is excited to get experience in the field as a photographer for The Sidekick.
