The Coppell boys basketball team dominated Flower Mound 58-33, on Friday at CHS arena
“I was really proud of the guys,” Coppell coach Clint Schnell said. “The biggest thing we’ve been searching for throughout the last couple of games is consistency and effort and we’ve really executed that tonight.”
In the second quarter, senior guard Gabe Pehl lunged past his defender and floated a shot into the basket to give Coppell an 11-7 lead. By halftime, Coppell led 25-12 over the Jaguars.
Coppell sophomore forward Sibu Socks greets the ball with anticipation as he makes the first basket of the quarter.
“The guys did a really good job for all four quarters,” Schnell said. “The way they played together as a team really showed their improvement as athletes.”
