The annual Digs for Dogs volleyball match makes its return today at CHS Arena in collaboration with Operation Kindness, the oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas. Spectators can bring a donation for free admission. 

Coppell plays Marcus at CHS Arena at 6:30 p.m. 

Prior to the match, dogs and cats will be available for adoption in CHS Arena foyer.

Heading into its match against Marcus, the Cowgirls have been working on rotations. 

“We’re running certain plays with our middles that worked against them last game, and working on our services,” senior setter Taylor Young said. “They’re really scrappy. Team appearance-wise, they’re a relatively short team like us and they can get a ball up and place it well.”
