In honor of the women advocating further equality, In 1987, Congress established March nationally as Women’s History Month.

Coppell High School makes sure to highlight female empowerment during the month of March. The CHS Library takes on primary representation of this through setting up displays and hand-picking books on powerful women for students.

Watch The Sidekick’s staff photographer Olivia Cooper’s video on CHS librarian Trisha Goins as she details how the library is celebrating Women’s History Month and its available resources.
