“I was really shocked and surprised because there were a lot of girls I played with that I thought were really good, so I didn’t know I was going to be categorized in that too. Making All-District means a lot of my work has paid off and that it’s getting noticed. Sometimes, I’m really hard on myself when I’m playing and I will think I’m doing bad, get frustrated or think I can do better, but it’s nice seeing other coaches recognize and reward the work that I’ve put into the sport. It gives me hope for next year, as my goal is to make it on the first team and I’m excited to grow from here.”
