This piece by senior AP Art student Gail Albright is rightfully called “Candy Coma” as it displays a woman falling asleep on a marshmallow in her dreamland made of candy. The painting was made using a program that Albright paid for called Clip Studio Paint, which allows artists to easily make digital drawings, Photoshop photos and has many other features as well. Albright was assigned to paint 12 works based around a central topic and she choose the topic of comfort food. The final piece she made is this candy piece, where she got the inspiration from her real life love of candy.
