CHS students rushing towards much awaited spring break

"We're going to Puerto Rico," CHS senior Xavier Lindsey said. "We'll probably do a couple excursions, but mostly just going to walk around and see the place. No specific plans yet, but I think we'll spend more time at the beach and chill rather than sightseeing."

"My grandpa is recovering from surgery, so we're going to take care of him up in Bonham," CHS senior Jared Phaury said. "We'll be out on the farm, away from the city with the sheep and chickens. We're thinking about getting horses over the break."

"We're headed back to Breckenridge, Colo.," CHS senior Abby Ramos said. "We actually just got back two weeks ago, and we go whenever we can, so we're there often. I ski, so we're going to stay at Breckenridge Ski Resort."

"I'll be making a costume of Prince Zuko ["Avatar the Last Airbender] for upcoming anime conventions," CHS junior Sneha Kumar said. "I got into cosplaying while I was watching a YouTuber do it, so I thought I would try it out. I'm going to find materials and makeup, for Zuko's scar, at Walmart."

"I'm going to Maui in Hawaii," CHS sophomore Megan Tierney said. "My brother [CHS Michael Tierney] chose the place, so we're biking down a volcano, clear-water kayaking and to a luau. We're just going to enjoy the nice weather after all the cold here."

"I'm going to be in Oklahoma," CHS sophomore Abbey Harris said. "I'll be working with my dad at his gun shop and helping him move into his new ranch house. We'll probably go horseback riding and spend time at the lake, too."
