“Winning a district award made me feel acknowledged for the hard work I’ve put in my whole life of training competitively for soccer. This was a goal for me, but it doesn’t represent the culmination of my efforts I’ve put in over the years because the most rewarding thing to me is how in shape I am and how I’ve prepared myself for college soccer. The determination and work ethic I’ve gained over the years is the best award in myself I could ask for.”
