Preston Taylor – Honorable Mention All District 6-6A Forward

“Soccer is really something I find peace in. When I’m playing on the pitch, a new form of energy really comes out of me. Not only does the adrenaline kick in, even before the game, there’s another form of excitement and eagerness that binds with it to create something that really makes me happy. Being a freshman and being recognized for a district award isn’t something I just brush off, but there is still more and better that I can achieve; [it] just comes with a lot more practice and effort. In my belief, last season wasn’t the best soccer I’ve ever played in my life, but I still got the award and earned it by trying my best every game and every practice. I believe there is still more effort and more of me to be shown.”
