Coming off a strong performance against St. John’s, the Coppell boys lacrosse team plays Frisco at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at Coppell Middle School North.

The Cowboys are using the lessons taught from their season’s only two losses in Austin to prepare them going into this game and into the rest of the season.

According to Coppell junior midfielder Bain Carter, the Cowboys have highlighted one of their biggest struggles this season: playing a complete game.

“We will come game ready,” Carter said. “We will practice harder and [at] game speed so we are [always] ready for the game.”

According to Carter, Frisco has a strong athletic presence on the field.

“[Frisco is] a more physical team,” Carter said. “But they aren’t more physical than any other team we have played this year.”

Nevertheless, the Cowboys are confident going into this game after a great week of practice and are trying to gain some winning momentum going into next week’s Senior Night and the rest of the season, per Carter.
