IB students begin major projects

Staff Writer
Paige Wilson

The IB students have another task to face on the road to their IB diploma. Students are challenged with the task to create a 15 minute lecture about anything that can relate to their Theory of Knowledge course.

The whole purpose is to engage students in TOK through topics they are personally intrested in. Students were definetly not affraid to hold back with there topics. Students chose topics ranging from how society treats people being released from prisoners to the minds of a psychopathic killer.

Junior Drew Hull was the first person to present.
“The presentation was challenging,” Hull said. “It was nice to talk about something intresting and relatable.”

The lectures allow students to use different methods of teaching to educate people on a specific point. Students used games, videos, and other resources to engage other students in their topic.

The lectures will continue throughout the rest of the year in during their Theory of Knowledge course.
