After the release of bombastic lead single “Get Out” from its upcoming third studio album Love Is Dead, synthpop band CHVRCHES switches things up with a more subdued track, entitled “My Enemy”, joined by guest vocalist Matt Berninger. The song follows two different perspectives in a relationship, with CHVRCHES vocalist Lauren Mayberry leading the chorus and Matt Berninger handling the verses. There is a strong guiding melody throughout, which culminates at the end, when Mayberry and Berninger combine their voices into a sentimental final chorus.

“My Enemy” was released on Feb. 28 and is the fourth track off CHVRCHES’ upcoming third studio album Love Is Dead, which will be released on May 25.
