Hope for Africa will be selling homecoming buttons, raising money for Water is Basic, for the next two weeks during all lunches. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on mums and garters, the buttons are a simple way to celebrate homecoming, remove the excess and help a noble cause. The orange, black and white buttons cost $5.
The fundraiser is in its fourth year at Coppell High School, and all proceeds go to help build a well in Sudan, which cost around $4,000.
Also, the next Hope for Africa meeting will be this Wednesday, September 16 in Mr. Bowden’s room, C231. New members are welcome.
