Coming off a loss to Lewisville, the Coppell basketball team is looking to regain some swagger in their final regular season game before playoffs.
The Cowboys (16-15, 4-5) take on Flower Mound tonight in a game that doesn’t matter too much standings wise. Both teams have already secured their spots in the postseason, the Jaguars (21-10, 5-4) will be the third seed from district 6-5A, Coppell will be the forth.
Since each squad knows it will live to play another day, only confidence and momentum can be obtained tonight when the players take the floor.
Senior guard Andrew Bourg continues, as he has all season, to lead the Cowboys in scoring with 10.5 points per game, he’s the only player who has scored over 300 points this year.
Every player should receive some quality minutes in this game, including junior big man Carter Kemp who has accounted for one rebound in his four games of play this season.
The game starts at 7:30pm, come out and support Coppell basketball in the last game of the year.
