Cowboys soccer look to continue winning streak

TJ Andres, Staff Writer

The Coppell Cowboys soccer team has been red hot as of late. The Cowboys (7-0-2, 2-0 District 7-6A) who are ranked first in the state and 10th in the nation, are riding a four game winning streak including win over Dallas Jesuit and a 6-0 shutout of rival Southlake Carroll last Friday night.

The Cowboys look to add to their winning streak when they play at Richland tonight and when they host Euless Trinity on Tuesday night.
Richland comes into tonight’s matchup looking for their first district win as the Rebels are 0-4 in district play (2-6-2 overall). Euless Trinity will come into Tuesday’s matchup with a record of 3-6-1 and 1-2 in district play. This will be the first time the Cowboys play either teams this season. Kickoff starts at 7:30 for both games.
