After winning the 5A state volleyball championship in 2011 and 2012, the 5A state soccer championship in 2013 and finally the ultimate Frisbee state championship last week end, the senior class is without a doubt one of the most athletically gifted classes Coppell high School has ever seen.
There were 18 seniors that won state in a UIL sport, either volleyball soccer, and eight more that qualified for a state competition in a UIL sport. Athletes competed at state in volleyball, soccer, wrestling, golf and tennis.
The ultimate Frisbee team, which was only started a couple of years ago at CHS was the only non-UIL sport to compete in or win a state competition this year.
Congratulations to all these state athletes.
