Earth day encourages citizens to demonstrate support for environmental protection. On this earth day, the city of Coppell also happened to host the groundbreaking ceremony for the Biodiversity Education Center at Coppell.
At 10 a.m. a large crowd gathered around what Coppell students had first envisioned 10 years ago. The SHW group designed the concept, the construction plans, and the facility itself. The center is expected to be of great use to students and citizens for the years to come.
