Instead of getting a fabulous concert review on one of my highly anticipated concerts, I am sad to say that Rihanna canceled her Dallas show that was planned for Tuesday the 16. This is now the fourth show so far on her Diamonds world tour that she has had to cancel. (Boston, Baltimore and Houston)

She has battled an ongoing case of laryngitis, and suddenly now a cold making her unable to perform. Just as a football player needs a good arm and leg for a game, it is critical for a singer to be well enough to perform a two hour set for a screaming crowd of 20,000.

After the cancelled Houston show, Dallas should’ve been suspect about a possible no show, but Rih Rih fans were optimistic of getting a show.

“I was so upset. I had been waiting such a long time for this concert,” sophomore Heidy de los Santos said.”The concert tickets were my birthday gift and I was looking so forward to the show.”

All news and radio sources advise fans to hold onto their tickets as they are hoping to reschedule the tour date for a later time.
