What would childhood be without stories to imagine, tell and read? Some underprivileged schools and libraries are struggling to provide books for their children, but there is a way for students to help with that.

The Public Services Academy at Coppell High School has set up a book drive to celebrate Drop Everything and Read, or D.E.A.R., month sponsored by Beverly Clearly. The books donated should be of the elementary and middle school reading level to benefit and stock libraries for underprivileged children.

Colorful boxes have been placed around the school for donations- one at the Horseshoe, Student Services and the Library entrance. All books will be collected April 30.
