Health problems such as allergies and asthma are on the rise in the United States, partially due to increased use of chemicals in our everyday lives. Implementing a green program can reduce the negative effect your cleaning and sanitary operations have on the environment.
For this, Keep Coppell Beautiful is offering a Residential Green Cleaning class on Saturday, April 13 from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm at Cozby Library, located at 177 N. Heartz Rd.
The class will be taught by Larry Singleton, Director of Sustainability and Green Cleaning Specialist for Pollock Paper Distributors. He trained with three of the original staff of the US Green Building Council, who helped produce the criteria for the LEED High Performance cleaning program.
Mr. Singleton has 20 years knowledge and expertise in the cleaning and maintenance of buildings that will help guide you and give you the knowledge you will need to get you started. He practices green cleaning in his home.
There is no charge for this class and registration is not required.
