Social media plays a major role in present day journalism due to its high involvement in society. In order for the Sidekick to keep our readers informed on a constant basis, senior Corrina Taylor has been named our new director of social media.
While finding the best fit for the job, the staff conducted a seven-day competition to see who had the most posts with the highest quality. During the challenge, Taylor posted 49 times via Sidekick social media and gained our accounts 12 new followers.
