Dr. Wright Lassiter Jr. is the president of Dallas Community College,chairman of the board of trustees for the African American Museum and a member of the inaugural class of the African American Educators Hall of Fame in Dallas. In honor of Black History Month, Lassiter sat down to talk about his life experiences, including meeting Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and participating in the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Lassiter brings students’ history textbooks to life and brings meaning to Black History Month.
