Movies provide spring break entertainment

By Jay Carroll
Staff Writer

With spring break just around the corner, many students will be going out of town, and even the country. However, there are still many students who will be spending the week long break at home.

The students that will be staying home for a week will, at some point say, “I’m bored and there is nothing to do”. However, they can go to a nearby movie theater and select from a wide variety of movies that will be released this week, and next just in time for spring break. One of these movies is “Oz the Great and Powerful“, which provides viewers with a little different spin on the original “Wizard of Oz”.

The another highly anticipated movie, “The Call“, will release during spring break. The call is about a 911 operator who receives a life-changing call from an abducted teenager, so she realizes that she must confront a killer from her past.
