The City of Coppell will be moving the engineering, planning and building inspection departments in order to make access to all departments easier. Currently the buildings are located at 500 Southwestern Blvd making it harder for people working in all three departments.
Starting Thursday, Feb. 28 the divisions will begin the transition, during this time they will remain open and regular business hours will resume on Monday, Mar. 4.
The new home to these divisions will be 265 E. Parkway Blvd adjacent to the Coppell Town Center. Placing the departments in the same facility provides the city with a better service to its citizens and business partners.
Also the fire and parks and recreation administration will be moved onto the Town Center campus. Citizens will only have to drive to one site to access the various departments.
